Excavations at Motala Ström 2011 – a journal by Faber Arkeologi

The site at Motala Ström is one of the largest permanent or semi permanent late Mesolithic (dates between 6000-4000 b.ce.) settlement sites in Scandinavia. The site has been under excavation since 2000 due to extensive railway development. In this journal you’ll find weekly updates from the excavation season at Motala Ström in 2011.

The 2011 excavations are carried out by the Swedish National Heritage Board (UV Öst). Read the journal here.
